Dear IB Film students, I hope you are all well and healthy. This is certainly an unusual time. A few things... I will be keeping "office hours" for the first hour of regularly scheduled classes. In other words, for IB Film Seniors, I will be available to answer email questions from 8:40-9:40 every Tuesday and Thursday.
Your main IB Film Point person will be Mr. Shipley. He is the one to contact regarding due dates and collaborative or comparative assignments. I went on campus yesterday and shared your Long Takes and Two Person Scenes onto a flash drive. Mr. Shipley now has the flash drives and should be loading them into a drop box.
If you have any questions regarding the production of your seven minute narratives please do not hesitate to contact me. I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org. I check my email multiple times a dat. Production questions typically involve screenplays, wardrobe, use of props, locations, casting, editing, lighting, etc. Think of me as a sounding board (or Executive Producer).
Good luck. I know these are unusual times. Stay well.
3/20/20: No School
3/24/20: Good morning senior IB students. Hopefully, you have been working hard on your portfolios. I believe Ms. Kestenbaum has been sending you updates regarding IB due dates and what is expected from you in this time of the coronavirus. I also understand, from I.B.'s point of view, that this is a fluid situation. Right now, it looks like further clarification will be coming by March 27th. Contact me via email if you have any production questions regarding your portfolios. Soldier on!
3/26/20: Good morning distance learners! I have been in touch with our fearless leader Mr. Shipley. He is going to be sharing out the Dropbox folders in the next day or two. This is for the portfolio project. Good luck! Please, as always, contact me if you have any questions, concerns, or comments.
